A little bit about me

I have years of experience working with children of all ages as both a swim instructor and camp counselor, where I developed strong skills in keeping kids safe, engaged, and having fun. I also have twin younger sisters, which has given me plenty of hands-on childcare experience, and I helped run an in-home daycare for two years, caring for children of various ages. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and strive to create a safe, fun, and educational environment where they can learn, grow, and feel supported. I am also a Certified Medical Assistant with certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid, so you can feel confident that your child’s safety and well-being are always my top priority.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have over two years of hands-on childcare experience assisting with an in-home daycare, caring for children of all ages in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. My responsibilities included supervising daily activities, preparing age-appropriate games and learning opportunities, helping with meals and routines, and ensuring each child received individualized attention.

In addition, I worked as a swim instructor, teaching children water safety and swimming skills while building their confidence in the water. I also served as a camp counselor, where I planned and led fun, educational activities, encouraged teamwork, and maintained a positive, supportive environment for children of varying ages and abilities. These experiences have strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to connect with children while prioritizing their safety and well-being.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love creating fun, engaging, and enriching experiences that keep children active, learning, and smiling. Some of my favorite activities include playing outdoor games, going to the park, taking walks, and encouraging imaginative play. I also enjoy board games, arts and crafts, reading books, and hands-on sensory and stimulation activities that support creativity and age-appropriate development. My goal is to provide a safe, positive environment where children can have fun, build confidence, and continue learning through play.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children feel loved, protected, and encouraged to be themselves. I strive to build trusting relationships with both children and their families while creating engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and healthy development. My goal is to ensure every child feels valued, supported, and excited to learn and grow each day.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children with special needs through my role as a camp counselor, where I provided individualized support based on each child’s unique abilities and needs. I adapted activities to ensure every child felt included, encouraged participation, and created a safe, positive, and supportive environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite part of being a nanny is watching children grow, develop, and reach important milestones. It’s incredibly rewarding to see them gain new skills, build confidence, and celebrate their accomplishments, no matter how big or small. I also love being a part of their everyday adventures and helping create happy childhood memories, allowing them to learn, explore, and simply enjoy being kids in a safe, loving, and supportive environment.
