The last family I worked for had two lovely children with autism. My mother is a special education teacher and she has always taught me to embrace everyone’s differences!

The most important part about being a nanny...
I previously worked with a foster family and the first time I met the littles girls we sat and sang along to frozen. The girls both had autism and the oldest had never spoken to the foster parents. As soon as we turned on frozen she sang to the top of her lungs! It was just such a sweet moment!!
