At my current job I am a paraprofessional for the Elk Grove school district. Before my professional experience I had a personal experience as well through a family friend, who on occasional date nights would let me watch their 2 daughters. Between my professional and personal work I have seen that the requirements are quite similar. The care required in a home and at school can be similar in ways of building structure, showing discipline, meal preps and more! My experience comes in many forms from nurturing, play care, housekeeping and more!

My experience with special needs children...
is through my current job with the school district I spend a lot of time with kids in general but I have worked with many types of special needs children. The types I have worked with so far is Autism, hearing impairment, visual impairment, speech or language impairment, ADHD, Down syndrome, developmental, cerebral palsy, and learning disability.
