My favorite moment was when one of my kids took his first steps in my care! I was in awe, all it took was putting a block in his hand and he felt balanced enough.
What made it even better was that I didn't tell the parents, out of respect, and then I got a video and a text sharing the milestone with me!

Mop the common rooms, café, offices, resident rooms, hallways and the library. Wipe down the tables with cleaning wipes, also making sure to wipe down dust. Sign the linen in when we get a delivery, folding all of the linen and putting everything in its spot in the linen room. Side projects when my manager needs me and vacuuming all carpets/rugs.
Growing up, I had to take on the responsibility of “becoming” a second adult for my own siblings, so I know how to make great dinners for them, doing the dishes, helping out with homework, figuring out activities to do and building confidence in themselves.
