A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Kayla Roque and I am 19 years old. I have 3 siblings and growing up my mother was a single mother of 4 meaning, I needed to step up to the plate. I haves always watched over my younger siblings as well as cooked and cleaned staring at the age of 8 years old. I am very motivated and experienced when it comes to children. I worked at a local daycare here in Odessa, TX for about 4 months. At this daycare I earned 3 certificates and still a took a class for first aid and cpr training. I have my SIDS, first aid, cpr, child care and COVID-19 courses (through online courses on Texas A&M. I absolutely loved working with these kids while I was at that daycare for a short amount of time. Also within being a teacher and having my own class room for only about two weeks, I earned the best teacher award for the whole month of April which was a huge accomplishment for me!
