A little bit about me

I am 23 years old and have always loved to help with children. I am currently going back to school for early childhood education to become a kindergarten teacher. While there is most definitely a soft spot in my heart for younger children, I love working with children of all ages. When spending time with children I enjoy working on my Spanish and ASL with them (I am not very good but, I am trying little by little). I love seeing children learn new things and believe that we always both learn something new in the process.

I had my first consistent after-school babysitting job at 12 and have been involved with child care and development ever since. I have previously been a nanny, a teacher’s assistant in a kindergarten classroom, an assistant teacher in a toddler classroom, and even a private tutor for preschool readiness.

I love to play games, sing songs, do art and crafts, practice languages, go to the library, attend free city events, and overall be silly and have fun
