More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am state certified with my state paraprofessional certification, with over 3 years of experience in an elementary school setting! I have experience with autistic/neurodivergent children. Teaching language/speech, and everyday activities within the school setting. Guiding play with peers, and instruction from teachers or other adults.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing crafts with the littles! I also like creating and doing different sensory bins, I think stimulation through sensory bins is very important and allows the child/children to explore textures! I also like doing outdoor activities wether that's playing with toys outside, going for a walk, going to the park, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being present and consistent in a child's life! Making them feel safe and comfortable with you is a big part of caring for littles, as well as the parents. Ensuring they are able to trust you with their little bundles of joy! Positive relationships make the biggest impact!

My experience with special needs children...

I was in an internship program in high school, that was aiding students in the Monarch program, which was a program for students with special needs or learning disabilities! As well as, working in an elementary school as a special education paraprofessional! I’ve worked with non-verbal students that use an AAC device, and students that have a hard time regulating their body/emotions.
