Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Was a childcare provider for Azucena Academy, Wonderland, Just4kids Adventures, and was a classroom aide for Early Learning Essentials.
Was responsible for cooking and meal prep for The Kids Connection and Walden School.
Additional experience as a babysitter for newborns up to 12-year-olds. I am also the oldest sibling of five children and would care for all my younger siblings like a parent.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy playing make believe, playing with toys, doing arts and crafts, going for walks, reading books, and turning chores into a game so that children are more motivated to help clean up after themselves and gain independence.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Providing children with a sense of safety, and making sure they are nurtured and happy. Also, providing an extra helper for parents and guardians so that they can be their best as well.

My experience with special needs children...

I have been a 'peer tutor' when I was in school and would accompany the special needs students to class and help them with their schoolwork. I also have taken care of several nuerodivergent children and those with physical limitations and dietary restrictions at several of the daycares I've worked at. Most recently I worked with two non-verbal 4-year-old children with autism, and several with ADHD and Trauma when I worked as a classroom aide at Early Learning Essentials.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I've mostly worked with young children, between the ages of 9 months to 3 years, and many of them would start calling me "Mama" after I had been caring for them for a while. I also babysat a trio of siblings for only a day, and the 5 and 4 year old both ran up and gave me hugs when I was leaving.
