A little bit about me

I’m a freshman at Salisbury University who genuinely loves spending time with kids and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I’ve coached children ages 3–12, which helped me learn how to be patient, understanding, and supportive of each child’s unique needs. In high school, I volunteered at Cedar Chapel, working with children with various disabilities. I’ve been babysitting kids of all ages for about two years, but even before then I spent my childhood caring for my younger brother, who’s now 8 which has been one of my favorite experiences.

More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Most of my childcare experience has been during the summer, so we love fun activities like going to the water park or having water balloon days in the yard. I enjoy making lunchtime interactive by letting kids help when they can, and I’m always happy to join in imaginative play from playing “patients” to Barbies

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is being able to provide a safe place that feels loving for the kid(s) and a sense of relief and reliability for the parents.

My experience with special needs children...

I volunteered at Cedar Chapel Special School for most of my high school years, where I gained meaningful experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities. During my senior year, I tutored a child with autism, and this past summer I babysat for a family with a child with autism for about a month.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is whenever a kiddo learns to say my name! It always make me feel extra loved that the kid wants to be around me to the point where they learned to say my name!!

Isabelle P. - Seeking Work in Salisbury

Babysitter Available in Salisbury, MD: Isabelle P.

While I am beginning my professional career as a nanny, I bring over 16 years of life experience as the eldest of eight siblings. I have spent my life in the heart of a busy household, mastering the art of staying calm under pressure and managing multiple schedules at once. My background has made me naturally patient, highly observant, and deeply dedicated to the well-being of children. I am looking to bring that same level of devotion and 'big sister' care to your family.
