More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a daycare teacher for infants/toddlers and preschool. Currently a nanny on Mondays and Fridays
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love planning fun, age-appropriate activities that allow children to learn through play. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, sensory activities, reading books, music and movement, outdoor play, nature walks, trips to the library or park, and simple cooking activities. With my background in Early Childhood Education, I enjoy following each child’s interests and finding creative ways to support their learning and development while still having fun.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment for the children in my care. I want children to feel comfortable being themselves, exploring, learning, and expressing their emotions. I also believe having open and honest communication with parents is extremely important. Being a nanny means becoming a trusted part of a family’s support system, and I take that responsibility seriously.
My experience with special needs children...
Throughout my years working in childcare and as a daycare teacher, I have had experience supporting children with different developmental, behavioral, and individual needs. I believe every child is unique, and I take the time to learn what works best for them. I’m patient, understanding, and comfortable adapting activities, routines, and my approach to help each child feel safe, included, and supported.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments are when I get to see a child accomplish something they’ve been working toward, whether it’s learning a new word, reaching a developmental milestone, trying something independently for the first time, or simply becoming more confident\. Seeing their excitement and knowing that I was able to support and encourage them along the way is one of the most rewarding parts of being a nanny.
