"Keiora supported our family as a part-time nanny throughout our extended quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021 and early 2022. She was an incredibly reliable caregiver, showing up on time, testing regularly and supervising our three-year-old son during virtual learning each morning and taking the initiative to help potty training our daughter before she turned two. Keiora also assisted us by preparing daily breakfast and lunch for the kids and put them to bed during nap time each afternoon. She has a trustworthy, quiet and calm demeanor which translated well with our children, especially during long days in which we did not give them screen time beyond our son’s thirty minutes of virtual learning. Her ongoing experience working at a daycare was also helpful as our kids worked with her each day.
Keiora continues to babysit for us occasionally and we have no doubt that we would not have been able to get through some of the toughest days of the pandemic without her help."

My experience with special needs children...
At my previous daycare we did have a few children that had special needs, we had to find what they like and be very patient with them. Children with special needs, need the necessities that any other child needs they just need someone that patient and willing to work with them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Not really a nanny moment but my favorite caretaker moment was when I was working at a daycare and we were playing a circuit game and one of the circuits was the "chubby bunny" challenge. The score to beat was 7 and one little boy got 15 in his mouth with out choking or gaging!! My self as well as my coworkers thought it was bout amazing and super funny.
