A little bit about me

Hello I'm Keira! Thank you for taking an interest in my profile. I'm an 18 year old high school student (graduating in June), and absolutely adore children. I grew up as the oldest sister out of 5 and would like to think I'm very kind, patient, and nurturing. I do not have my driver's license currently, but do have transportation. I would also be more than willing to get trained in first aid, and become cpr certified if that would make you and your loved ones more comfortable, and I'm of course drug and alcohol free. I am more than capable of light house keeping, meal prep, and helping with long distance learning. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and attend an independent study school (I learn independently, meaning I have a lot more free time). As for my hobbies I enjoy baking, reading, writing, and occasionally singing. It would be a pleasure to be of help to you and your family. Thank you for your time!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Most of my experience comes from helping my mother take care of my four siblings. Because of health issues she would often have to be absent for doctors appointments. I have learned a lot of valuable experiences and lovely moments through those times.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Having fun is the best part of being a child, and I believe we all deserve to experience a rich activity filled childhood! Some of the activities I'm most familiar doing indoors include baking, reading to the child, having dance/singing parties, arts and crafts, tea parties, or watching movies. As for outdoors, I enjoy walks, going to parks, and just playing! Especially hide and seek. Nothing beats hide and seek!

The most important part about being a nanny...

For myself I believe the most rewarding thing about being a nanny is the bond you make with the family and child. To have someone trust you with their baby is a huge responsibility and honor, and isn't to be taken lightly. Becoming a huge part of that child's life is something very beautiful, and needs to be appreciated. I don't think there is much else quite as meaningful.

My experience with special needs children...

My two youngest brothers are both special needs children. Through caring for them I have learned the value of patience, understanding, and just how important love is to a child who has a difficult time communicating.

The most important part about being a nanny...

There are countless exciting memories that I have. However, my fondest would be creating a secret base with my kids. We would bring snacks, sweets, and toys out to our base and have a blast playing!
