A little bit about me

I've been working with children a long time. I was a Nanny for 10 yrs and now I am driving school bus and have been for 5 years. Unfortunately this job is not suiting me well right now. Since the start of the school year I have gotten sick 3 times because of prolonged mask wearing.
So I am looking for other work that can keep me away from having to wear masks. I thought about when I used to Nanny and how I really enjoyed the job. Perhaps I could venture into it again. I am down to earth, friendly, and easy to get along with. I take pride in my knowledge of caring for children and helping them to become the best person that they can grow into.
I have taught babies sign language, I've helped with kids homework, cooked meals, house cleaning and household management. I have experience also caring for children 24/7 for a consistent number of days as well.

I am currently a school bus driver. I have also worked in Day Care centers and in the Nursery at a former church.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love taking the kids to the park, going for walks, hikes, exploring new places such as going to museums, nature centers, book readings, music classes, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Having a bond with the kids, and seeing them growing and learning, exploring the world for the first time. Their reactions can be priceless.

So far the only experience I have is with Autistic children.
