I started in day cares at the age of 17 when I graduated from High School. Then I worked in day cares while putting myself through college. I taught elementary school for several years but I ended up having a baby with major heart issues and other medical problems. I never completed my credential due to his health issues. He needed significant medical care/surgeries and so consequently I am comfortable in dealing with wound care, IV/PIC line, Kangaroo Pump/feeding tube, heart and ADHD medication, as well as physical and mental delays. He passed when he was ten. I have an 11 year old daughter that I will be taking to school in the morning by 7:30 am. She goes to after school care and I would like to pick her up by 4:30. I am reliable, patient and nice.
