A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Kelsey Billingsley and I am 28 years old. I am moving back to Richmond in the near future and am looking to step back into childcare. I started babysitting when I was 16. From then I knew I had a passion for helping children grow. I was a college athlete at Transylvania University and had the goal to earn my Early Childhood Education degree with an emphasis in Child Development. However, when covid hit I made the move back to my hometown and but my education on pause. Since then, I have worked in a few different areas of childcare. I spent a few years being a classroom lead for a local daycare, where I worked with 2 and 3 year olds. I spent a little over a year working in ABA therapy as an RBT with children ranging in ages 2-8. After that I made the transition into the public school system where I was a para for my local preschool. I have adored each role I have been lucky enough to take on. I am excited to find my next one!
