More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was most recently working as a child care teacher in the infant room and the toddlers room. Prior to that I worked in another daycare as the pre k teacher. My very first real job with children was my favorite job ever, which was a full time nanny of 5 children with special needs and I brought my child along making the total of 6 children at once. I worked as a nanny 6 days a week 10 hr days and for over 10 years. I am still close with these children even though they are much older and independent. I have my CDA and CPR and first aide certification. I also clean houses on the weekends currently with my own cleaning business. So I am very familiar with cleaning and care taking of children. I treat littles as if they were my own and I know your littles will feel loved and safe with me at all times!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking little on walks, stroller rides, trips to the park, outdoors enjoying nature or even to an indoor playground if the weather permits.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being that positive role model that a child will want to spend time with and look forward to learning and playing together. I love teaching little ones how to do things like ride their bikes without training wheels, writing their name, potty training, how to draw and write, how to play games and dance!
My experience with special needs children...
Several years experience with special needs little ones from infants up to adults. Nannying for several years for 5 children with various types and level of special needs and also brought my daughter along with me making it a total of 6 children. I have 3 cousins with special and 2 with autism that I am very close with and have always had a special bond and understanding of.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Watching all 5 of my children I nannied for learn how to ride a bike without training wheels for the first time!
