Hello! My name is Kelsey and I would love to share a little bit about myself. I have had experience in taking care of children ages newborn to 10. I really love caring for children and enjoy spending quality time with them. I am 18, a senior in high school, extmely responsible, am an A student and am planning to pursue a career in education. I truly care about quality care and educating children. I have an upbeat personality and get along very well with children. I give high attention and ensure quality time is maximized with a child to further their learning and development. For example I really enjoy playing games that enhance reading, writing, learning the alphabet, colors, assist with refining fine motor skills and speaking skills with kids I have cared for in the past. If the child is in school I also assist with homework activities. I provide structure and consistency for the child as the parents have set while they are with me so they have a routine they follow. I also ensure their play and eating areas are kept neat and show by example how to have them also learn how to keep areas neat.
