Hi! My name is Kelsey, and I have over 10 years of experience working with children. I have a degree in Early Childhood Development and began my career as a preschool teacher before going on to work in education and eventually opening my own licensed in-home daycare.

Running my daycare was incredibly rewarding, and I cared for children from newborn through 5 years old while providing age-appropriate learning, care, and support for their developmental milestones. I’m also a mother of two, so caring for children is truly something I love and have always been passionate about.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have over 10 years of hands-on childcare experience, including infant, toddler, and preschool care. I previously worked as a Head Start Preschool Teacher and later owned and operated my my own licensed in-home daycare, Queen Bee's Kids, where I provided daily age appropriate daily curriculum, structure, and a safe, loving environment for 9 full-time children ranging from new born to 5 years old. I transitioned out of it during the pandemic and spent time at home with my youngest until he began school. Now that he is in school, I'm excited to bring my childcare experience, patience, and reliability to a new family!

I enjoy doing fun, hands-on activities with my children like arts and crafts, playing outside and more! My children especially love going swimming during the summer!

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite parts of being in childcare has always been watching the children grow over the years. Seeing their personalities develop, celebrating their milestones and being part of their daily routines is incredibly rewarding.
