I was a childcare assistant at Gethsemane Christian Academy from April of 2021 until July of 2021. In the past I have worked at Nasa Kids in Houston, Texas and I’ve also worked in an in-home daycare with about 8-9 kids around 3 months-6 years old.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some indoor activities I enjoy are always hands-on activities. I like to actually do the activities with them to make it more enjoyable. Activities such as matching games, building things, coloring big coloring books, hands-on learning activities. Outside, I enjoy just being free and exploring nature outside, (while being safe of course lol). Hopscotch, jump rope , bubbles etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
keeping the kids happy and safe all the time! Making sure they feel loved and wanted! Being patient with them and trying to understand them!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was carrying for one of my sweet babies named Jordan and helping her to learn how to walk. We practiced everyday because that was one of the tasks her mother asked me to work on with her. I went over one day and she started walking! I felt so accomplished and proud that little Jordan began to walk!
