More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I completed observation hours in elementary school classrooms through my high school’s Teaching and Learning program, where I learned how to support young students and understand their developmental needs. I also worked with high school students as a peer tutor and have hands-on experience caring for children with autism. As the oldest sibling of three younger brothers, I’ve always had a natural role in caregiving and supporting kids of all ages.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing fun and creative activities with kids like coloring, baking, cooking simple meals, listening to music, and watching family movies. I also enjoy outdoor things like swimming, going on picnics, playing at the park, and fun trips like bowling or Top Golf. I enjoy talking with kids and making sure they feel heard and engaged no matter what we’re doing!
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part is making sure the child feels safe, cared for, and genuinely happy. As a nanny, I understand that children are away from their parents and need someone who can make them feel secure, comforted, and loved. My goal is to create a positive environment where they can smile, feel supported, and know they’re in good hands. If a child is excited for me to come back, that’s how I know I did my job right.
My experience with special needs children...
I was a peer tutor for special needs students in high school and have two close family members with special needs, so I’ve grown up in a supportive and inclusive environment. I’m comfortable helping with communication, emotional regulation, and daily routines. I’m very patient, understanding, and naturally tuned in to creating calm, safe spaces where children feel supported.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments are simply watching kids grow each day with my love and support. I love seeing them smile, feel safe, and be completely themselves around me. I enjoy celebrating their progress whether it’s coloring in the lines, counting to 100, or learning something new. I have so much love and empathy to give, and I truly believe children are a blessing. It means everything to watch them grow into confident, happy individuals who know they’re cared for.
