More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I helped raised my ex boyfriends daughter from newborn to age three years old.
I regularly volunteer at Mary's Place with children aging 3-15 and I work with high schooler's through a youth traffic peer jury court run through Seattle University's Law program.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy bringing my love of art, sports, music, history, outdoors, healthy foods, Steiner style learning and exploration to children.
Growing up I played every sport under the sun and also loved (and continue to love) to sculpt, paint and work with my hands.
I bring the opportunity to laugh, get messy, and energetic with children… and we clean up afterward, knowing that we had a good, full day.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe being a nanny is a privilege and responsibility that I don't take lightly. I believe as a nanny you have the unique opportunity to help children grow, thrive, and develop and that is such an amazing gift.
My experience with special needs children...
From age three on I grew up with two step-brothers who both struggled in their own ways. My younger brother, Nick has severe Dyslexia as well as Dyscalculia. My older brother Max has highly functioning Aspergers Syndrome. Seeing as both of my brothers have unique situations they had to be treated and talked to in different ways, I believe my upbringing helped me greatly when dealing with children and others with certain needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Helping raise a little girl opened my eyes to how the little things in life can be so magical. Dandelions become magic wish granters and the floor becomes lava. The little things in children's imaginations are my favorite, I can't just pick one.

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Lake Stevens, WA: Chelsie M.
I have been caring for children since I was a child! I started learning to care after my little brother starting since I was six, and have been continuing ever since! I have been baby sitting and nannying for many families, with ages ranging from newborns to 12-year-olds, and have looked after as many as four children at a time. My most recent experience was nannying for a lovely brother and sister, C and L, ages 8 and 11. I was with them for 2 years. With all children that I care after I make sure that they are well fed and happy, also that I am helping the family in other ways. That may involve, cooking, cleaning and running errands. I am willing to become Child/Infant CPR and First Aid certified. Personal health and wellbeing are especially important to me, so I am absolutely smoke and drug free.Ã I would love to connect with your families and provide my references!
