I am a mother to my 3 year old daughter, also I have 5 years experience teaching children between the ages of 3-17 how to work with paint.

I am a commission artist, so if we're indoors, I'll likely have the children paint on their own canvases - that way they'll have something amazing to bring home to mom and dad! Outdoor activities me and my daughter love is going to the park - everytime we go, we go to a new park so she can have a new experience. We would also likely go out to Palo Duro Canyon, and go for a light hike every now and then. This gives children a chance to connect with the beauty of nature, and keeps them from getting sucked into TV or tablets. The Don Harrington Discovery Center is also a BIG hit with my kiddo, and I think this would be a great treat for any kid to get to go do once in a while.
