My favorite moment in childcare was with the art club I sponsored during my previous position as an art teacher at Rhodes Intermediate. With no budget for t-shirts, so we decided to create our own. Each student brought a white t-shirt, and we had a tie-dye party. We voted on a design, which I carved onto a printing block, and each member inked and printed the design onto their t-shirts. Seeing my students so excited about their creations was incredibly rewarding.
