A little bit about me

My name is Kendra, I'm a mother of 3 children, two girls and a boy, age 2, 4 and 6. I've always had a passion for teaching and children. After college I taught dance classes at the YWCA to kids as young as 3 and as old as 12. And since becoming a stay at home mom I've researched parenting and child care and I have learned many techniques to help foster my own children's development. I'm a big believer in healthy home cooked meals and a home environment that facilitates learning and creativity.

I started babysitting at a young age and I realized how important caring for children was even back then. I've taken classes, read books, and learned so many techniques to help create a safe space for children of any age to learn and grow.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

My children are both at an age now where crafts have become a big part of our life. From helping me make yummy snacks/food, to painting masterpieces, to reading and leaning about different animals, to fun word puzzles, to counting and math activities. I love getting my children involved in learning by using engaging creative activities.
