A little bit about me

I have worked with children for about 7 years now, on and off. I started babysitting my little brother, and then a few neighborhood kids, and eventually I started teaching a dance class for ages 4/5. Recently, I have been working at an elementary school in North Salt Lake, with 5th graders. I also babysit once a week, 3 children with autism, who I love dearly. They have been apart of my life since January 2020. I live on my own, am almost 100% financially independent, and I also work at a beauty salon in NSL doing nails. I start school to become a Master Esthetician on the 23 of August. My goal once I get my license is to work at a dermatologists office and eventually go back to school to be a dermatologist. I am looking for a full time nanny job, preferably a live in job. I can drive to and from school, practices, etc. I have always been drawn to kids, and would love to be able to be one of the best influences on your kids lives.

I worked with 5th graders at an elementary school last year, and I also currently work with 3 children, all of which have autism.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love swimming. I love going to the aquarium or the zoo. In the past, I have taken the children I tend to Cabela's to look at the fish! (free aquarium lol) I like finding things to do without draining the parents bank account.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with a family for the past year and a half who all has autism. The mother is single and needed help managing all 3 of her children and their disabilities. That being said, I love those children with my whole heart. It is hard at times, but what child isn't hard at times? I don't mind adapting to new environments and new children.
