Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked as a Direct Care Worker in a long-term facility for at-risk youth ages 7-17 years old. I also have experience as a preschool and Aide/Substitute teacher at a Montessori school where I was responsible for supervising preschool-aged children (22months-3years old) and coordinating afternoon creative crafts and activities. I later became accountable for potty training and classroom management. After two years of working as an Aide, I became an Assistant Teacher. My responsibilities included: working in partnership with the Lead Teacher in subject lessons, Circle Time, and family communication. I also have experience as a Sunday School and Bible Study Teacher for Preschool and Elementary aged children at my local church.

I enjoy reading stories and encouraging reading for children of all ages, doing age appropriate creative crafts and activities, and exploring outdoors as much as possible.
