More About Me
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the most important parts about being a nanny is developing rapport and building bonds with the families and children I support. I enjoy getting to know each individual family and child personally so that I cater the activities accordingly. For each visit, I always come prepared with a bag full of games and enjoyable activities based on the unique likes, preferences, and age of each child. Building strong bonds with each child (while providing age-appropriate and enriching activities) is SO important!
My experience with special needs children...
I have a background in behavior change (completed an undergraduate degree with graduate-level coursework) and have had the opportunity to work with families of neurodivergent children since 2012. I’m more than happy to provide a copy of my resume which demonstrates my academic training and experience as a professional nannying, childcare and respite care provider, executive function (EF) coach, and writer for an autism resource website called Stages Learning.
Additionally, I have a medical background (experience working in a hospital setting) and am fully CPR/First Aid certified. I’ve been working with children for over 14 years and am highly competent in and passionate about the work I do, building strong bonds with families, and focusing on strengths-based approaches to support each child. It would be a pleasure to have an opportunity to discuss how I could support your family; I look forward to being in touch!
