I Currently work full-time at a daycare with kids ages from four month to four years old. I’ve worked with all age groups and we do all different types of activities and different types of caring for each age group. I already have my first aid certification. Right now I’m currently looking into classes to get CPR certified and will hopefully be starting the courses soon. I absolutely love working at the daycare but with my personal schedule I need something with more flexible hours and something that pays better. Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing arts and crafts with children and watching them be creative I also love watching the kids learn new things whether it be their numbers and letters or just things about the world I love teaching them one of my absolute favorite things is reading books to the children and going out and playing with them there’s many things I love to do with the children here at daycare or at home but my all time favorite is probably doing arts and crafts and reading to the children !

I would say the most important part about caring for children in general is just having patience and being able to control your emotions because we all know children have a hard time doing that themselves so sometimes we have to set a good example ourselves for them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I’m not a nanny at the moment but I have been working at a daycare for almost 2 years now and there are so many favorite moments with many different children but my all time favorite time of year would have to be Christmas. I think we all know as we get older a lot of that Christmas magic and excitement goes away and Christmas becomes a hassle but being around the kids around Christmas time was always my favorite because it truly made you stop and remember why you go through all this stress for one day. Watching them light up when they see “Santa” and all the fun activities we set up for them from December 1st till they go on winter break, making gifts for the parents, and just watching them count down the days till Christmas brings back the Christmas magic for me even with all the stress the season brings the kids always seems to make us stop and smile because at the end of the day we do it for them
