I was a summer nanny for 2 years of my high school experience. I was a nanny during the Covid-19 pandemic and found safe, fun ways to have my kids interact with me and the outside world. I have been referred by multiple families and have always had a good experience with the kids I have tended.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love swimming, hiking, coloring, singing, dancing, reading, playing toys, and helping kids explore their creativity. I feel that all kids of all ages deserve to thrive and be happy in the activities they perform. I was previously a dance instructor and have also helped teach kids lacrosse.
My experience with special needs children...
I took 2 years of peer tutoring in high school and loved every minute of it. I think it takes a special kind of person to bond with special needs children and I’ve always been able to find myself to make a special connection.
