Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked in a daycare as an aide and a teacher for a little under three years. I have also been a private nanny for the last two years. However, the two families I worked with are or have already moved out of state.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing both indoor and outdoor activities with children. Activities such as the zoo, splash pads, and parks are my favorite during warm weather months. Activities such as trampoline parks, indoor playgrounds, and aquariums are my favorite during cooler weather months.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the nanny or caregiver should come alongside the parent and teach them the same rules and ideas that the parents do. The caregiver and parents should be a team, with the same end goal when it comes to the child.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with quite a few children with special needs. But I have helped with my nephew who has special needs for the last 6 years
The most important part about being a nanny...
Some of my favorite moments include dressing up with the kids, reading them books and teaching them how to read, and definitely the zoo trips
