More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My experience with childcare has been most of my life. I am the eldest cousin on both sides of my family so I started babysitting alone at 13 years old, and I've been babysitting ever since. I also worked at a daycare for my senior year of high school. For pets, I've had multiple dogs, cats, and fish throughout my life. I've even had a bird at one point, and I can easily adapt to taking care of other animals!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some activities I enjoy with children are coloring, any type of arts and crafts, watching kids shows, and playing outside with chalk, playground equipment, or any other type of outdoor play.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me most about being a nanny is the relationship I develop with my kids. Of course taking care of them and watching them very closely is important as well, but the most important part for me is our relationship. I love how kids faces light up when they see someone they love walk in the room. Having my kid trust me, have a bond with me, and loving each other is the most important part of being a nanny in my opinion.

My experience with special needs children...

I have limited experience with special needs children. I've never babysat or took care of any special needs children directly, but I have helped the adults at my old daycare take care of multiple special needs children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment with one of my kids I previously watched was when we were outside, coloring with chalk. My kid had stopped coloring, then looked at me and told me I was her bestest friend in the whole world. It completely melted my heart and I'll never forget that moment.
