I enjoy music, swimming, walking, playing board games, learning, reading, kayaking, napping (lol) and all sorts of outdoor activities as well as hanging in the house.
My experience with special needs children...
My sister whom lived with me most of my life has the mind of a 2 yr old at the age of 46. She has all the same needs most toddlers have. I've fed her, bathed her, sang to her, dealt with public with her, danced with her, and knew when she was hurting. With that being said, I can care for special needs children in a way that is familiar. Usually parents have a way to do things and a way to not and that's how I will care for any children. Like their parents want me to.
