I can help with meal prep and cooking, cleaning, keeping the house organized, homework, reading, arts and crafts, and age-appropriate activities. I’m also happy to plan fun activities outside the home when possible.

I want to be upfront that I don’t currently have my driver’s license, so I would not be able to drive the children. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have hands-on childcare experience caring for children of different ages. I previously worked at a daycare caring for children from babies through age 14, where I helped with activities, meals, cleaning, and nap time. I have also helped care for my sister’s 8 children and worked alongside a nanny providing daily childcare and support. These experiences have taught me to be patient, responsible, attentive, and dependable while making sure children feel safe, cared for, and comfortable.

I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, coloring, board games, puzzles, music, dancing, outdoor play, walks, playgrounds, and age-appropriate educational activities. I also love helping children explore their creativity, learn new things, and have fun while keeping them safe and engaged.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is making sure the children feel safe, loved, respected, and comfortable while in my care. I believe a nanny should be dependable, patient, trustworthy, and attentive to each child’s individual needs. I want to be someone a family can rely on and someone their children can feel comfortable with, while also creating a fun, positive, and nurturing environment.

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have extensive professional experience caring for children with special needs. I have had some hands-on experience helping care for a premature family member who had an ostomy bag. I learned how to safely change and empty the bag and understand the importance of being patient, gentle, attentive, and following proper care instructions. I am also comfortable learning new care routines from parents and medical professionals.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It’s hard for me to choose just one favorite nanny moment because every moment spent caring for a child has been special to me. I’ve always loved children from day one, and I enjoy being someone they can trust, talk to, and feel safe with. Some of my favorite moments are simply being there for them, watching them learn and grow, making them smile, and being their voice when they need someone to listen. To me, being able to make a positive difference in a child’s life is what makes every moment meaningful.
