Going outside to the park; taking walks; fine motor skill activities like painting, puzzles, play dough or clay. I also enjoy gross motor skill activities like playing tag; stretching/jumping. I enjoy doing things the children enjoy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think being respectful is one of the most impressive parts of being a nanny. Understand the family dynamics and how the parent(s) feel the kids should be nurtured. I agree it is imperative to make the parents feel the most comfortable, and the children the most valued. A big a circle of communication we’re everyone is involved. Keeping the house clean, the kids happy and having fun, enjoying themselves while we are learning and trying to have a wonderful day everyday.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked at Jordan valley being an apprentice with kids ages 3-6. I worked inside the class room, with low functioning, and with high functioning students.
The most important part about being a nanny...
That one is a really hard one to pick, but I think one of my favorite nanny moment was the sweetness of having to watch two baby twin sisters. They were the purest things, being able to help them grow and watch them develop into big 3 year old girls.
