Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Nanny share, as well as working in a daycare. I did all positions; I taught the older kids, planned lessons and taught the 4 year olds, as well as keeping an eye on the toddlers or infants if need be.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some indoor activities I really enjoy doing with kids would be painting, coloring, baking, playing dress up, having dance parties, playing with legos or sensory bins; the list goes on n on! Since it is currently summer time the pool/splash pads/waterpark have got to be my go to’s ! As well as exploring parks, going to playgrounds, drawing with chalk is also a favorite of mine, and taking walks!
The most important part about being a nanny...
the most important thing to me as a nanny is ensuring the child/children are having fun but also learning things that are appropriate for their age group !
My experience with special needs children...
I have about 8 years working with children with autism. A variety of ages as well as all on different levels of the spectrum!
