I work at My ChildCare academy right now in South Jordan! I work with all ages from 0-12. I love it so much! I am not a teacher but here at the MCA (my childcare academy) we do teach them letters, numbers, colors, words, animals, etc no matter what!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love arts and crafts with the kiddos!! Seeing their work and skills are so fun. Each kid has such a unique personality and are so creative in their own way.
Readings books is another activity I love, especially with the 2-5 years olds. They love pointing at the pictures and turning the pages.
Baking and cooking together as well!! I love making simple child-friendly recipes like cookies or mini pizzas.
Outdoor play is the top choice of activities that I love with the kids. They are so energetic and love to play games and run around. I love getting some good exercise for not only me, but also the kids and keeping them busy!

The most important part about being a nanny is growing with the kids and making sure that they feel comfortable and that their needs are met. I want to make sure they know that they have someone at all times to check on them and care for them.

I don’t have much experience with special needs kids but I do see them and interact with them on a daily basis at my current job.

Working at a daycare is such a beautiful job to me. I love growing with the children and learning about them. The more time I spend with them, I only get closer and love to socialize with them. My favorite moments are the kids coming to me for help or for a hug or just to have a chat with me. I love that they are comfortable with me and know that they can always rely on someone.
