Well, My I go by Kham for short. As you see iam apart of the LGBT community. But when children come to mind I draw the line. I do not condone or consider display of unchildly lessons, words, derogatory imagery. I have a old soul. I judge no family.!But- Boundaries, education, organization and safety are my top priority! I know there is always someone more experienced than myself. So I say this , even with only 3 years as a live in nanny, and 2 years of remote Nanning. I have learned and realized everything affects children, and the support system is everything.
I have God children, Nieces and nephews that iam actively taking responsibility for and Guiding. One of my certificates is expired and iam interested in getting it renewed as on 08/23.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Parks, Trails, I have Two puppies who are in training to be service animals, so if no allergies are a issue, they definitely can interact. I love arts and crafts. I have my own business in customs. Education, making learning hands on and enjoyable and easy to learn.
I also love self aware or communication activities, like meditation or speaking up. I like to help with behavior and attention as well.

My experience with special needs children...

I only have 3 months of experience. The children had high functioning Autism and had extra health requirements such as change urinal bags and feeding liquids through tubes, asthma, epilepsy. I don't prefer to work with special needs kids but if I can work with one family..I can only manage working with one single Special Needs Child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is cooking, arts and crafts and funny silly moments. My favorite thing is the way the children's face light up when you come back to see them . The fact of if you are a great nanny. The kids are open. They involve you with new things of their interest; for example-
"Ms.Kham or Khammie- did you see my new toy, I passed my test at school, can you teach me how make ...etc"

Those moments are irreplaceable and those moments develops healthy memories for their future.
