Hi! I am a 21 year old college student, just getting back into the educational grind. In order to do so I am preparing myself financially as well as skillfully by hoping to get more experience with childcare! I love to take care of children and watch them grow, while aiding in cultivating their skills! I have experience working with children in my family and have had the opportunity to aid them in this way and watch them bloom beautifully. My passion is to teach children what I know, and new things as well. I love to experience life through children’s eyes, and cultivating a beautiful little brain for them.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have cared for many different families’ children, by the experience that started it all was taking care of my nephew, who has just turned 2 years old this past month. He is a ball of goof and a bundle of joy and I spend every moment laughing with him, and teaching him new words. My favorite experience is was hearing my nephew yell “wow!” To all of the greenery when I took him for our first drive after getting my drivers license. this was a moment that truly showed me how important it is to allow children to be expressive and loud, because it makes them happy!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some activities that I enjoy doing with children is taking them outdoors, maybe for a walk or to the park in order to soak up all of the much needed vitamins from the sun and fresh air! I don’t believe in sitting a child down on a tablet or phone, and instead doing hands on learning activities and skill building activities that are both educational and fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny/caregiver is ensuring that the child whom is being taken care of is being done so to the fullest extent possible. I believe that the best way to care for a child is to be there with them and not only create experience for them, but experience them with them. Children are the greatest joy in life, and it is important that they are reminded of that every day!
