I have a cousin with Down Syndrome, and I've worked with a child with ADHD. I've also ooken care of a child with autism. All in need of certain medications, and close care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Everytime I walk into a home and see little smiling faces it counts as one of my favorite nanny moments. But to be specific, I cared for a little girl named Ava. She never really spoke unless her mother was around. And they where moving so this was my last week being her nanny for over 10 months. As I was saying my goodbyes, she ran up to me and gave me a big hug. A kiss on the cheek and said to me "K your the best". That moment made me feel like I was important. That I had not only created a bond with this child but she had also felt the same way.
