More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have over four years of hands-on experience working with children, including three years in a daycare setting and one year as a private nanny for a special needs family. I’ve primarily cared for children ages 0–6, helping little ones develop the skills they need to thrive in preschool and kindergarten. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, and I’m passionate about creating a nurturing, developmentally supportive environment.
As a nanny, I work one-on-one to help foster independence and encourage curiosity, especially through play, nature, and sensory-based activities. I also have a year of volunteer experience at a therapeutic equestrian center, where I supported children with brain injuries and other special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building a trusting, nurturing relationship with the child and their family. It’s about creating a safe space where a child feels seen, supported, and encouraged to grow at their own pace. A good nanny doesn’t just care for children—they help guide, teach, and celebrate them every step of the way.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children includes one year as a private nanny for a child with developmental delays, where I focused on fostering independence, communication, and sensory-friendly play. I also volunteered for a year at a therapeutic equestrian center, supporting children with brain injuries through hands-on assistance, patience, and adaptive care techniques. I am comfortable working with a wide range of needs and committed to providing compassionate, individualized support.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when the little girl I care for independently zipped up her jacket for the first time. We had been practicing together for weeks, and seeing her face light up with pride was such a rewarding reminder of how meaningful the small victories are. Moments like that—when a child realizes they can do something on their own—are why I love this work.

Babysitter Available in Springfield, PA: Sophia M.
Hi, it’s nice to meet you! My name’s Sophia, and I’m a thirteen year old from Springfield, PA. Currently, I’m certified in CPR and first-aid, and I can cook basic meals and tidy houses as I go. Furthermore, I’ve started this account to continue my babysitting journey. So far, I have babysat for about five kids under five, and lots more over that age. Also, the main reason I started this job was to spend time with more kiddos, and to help pay for small expenses for myself! That’s pretty much it with my summary, but I hope to hear from you again soon! Thanks🫶
