I’m a senior student-athlete at Winston-Salem State University studying Exercise Science, and I plan to attend graduate school to become a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. I’ve always had a natural love for children and a lot of patience, which led me to start helping care for infants and toddlers in my family when I was just nine years old. By the time I was eleven, I was babysitting on my own and quickly realized how much I enjoyed caring for kids.

I also have professional experience as a teacher’s aide at Bright Star Early Learning in Baltimore, Maryland, where I supported young children in a fun, structured, and nurturing environment. That experience reminded me how meaningful working with children is to me and confirmed that childcare is truly my passion. I aim to create a safe, loving, and engaging space where children feel comfortable and excited to grow.
