For me, it is important that I am helping families in any way that I can. I've always been told "it takes a village" to raise a child and I want to be part of that village that helps. It is important to me that we have safe, happy, and healthy little ones so we can help them grow into kind, caring and well-rounded people that will shape our future some day!

I was very involved in volunteering with Special Olympics starting in middle school and throughout undergrad. I also grew up with an aunt that has intellectual and physical disabilities and have helped provide care for her for as long as I can remember.
