The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me the most as a nanny/babysitter would be to lift the worries of parents, rather it be a quick break for alone time or maybe your work schedule got busy? To make sure they know their kids are going to be safe and comfortable with whomever they choose. Also for the kids to feel safe as well. Keeping it fun and light as possible!
