A little bit about me

I’ve always loved working with kids. I have been in child care for 20 years. The first few years I worked with kids ages 6weeks to 5 years old in a daycare. Then I became a nanny for a premie until she was able to go to daycare. My next job I took care of 3 boys ages 8 months to 5 years old for about 4 years. My most resent and longest position has been for any autistic child. He was 3 when I started and now is 14. As much as I would love to never leave this kid, his family just doesn’t need me because his dad retired and has the time to take care of him. Other than work I have been happily for 20 years and we have custody of a 11 year old boy that needed a home. I like doing age appropriate crafts, games, reading, going to the park or swimming in the summer. I think education is a very big deal and like to make it fun. I am available M-F 5 am to 6 pm and willing to do the occasional nights, weekends and sleep overs if needed. I also am willing to negotiate pay.
