Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have cared for kids in a variety of places. I have done live in, live out, I have done hotel sitting, event sitting, I have work in a school environment, i have done aftercare in a school environment and have done home and professional daycarea, been a babysitter and I raised my son along with raising several other kids that needed to be cared for.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing arts and crafts, coloring, going to the library, reading, playing memory games, charades, going to the park, taking walks, playing dress up, swimming. I think imagination and creativity activities are great ways to have fun. Playing children’s music so they dance and sing is always fun.
I enjoy everything I do when it’s with kids. Seeing them smile and knowing it’s because of something I did is priceless.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Everything is important about being a Nanny!!! You want to be the best version of you so you can give the kids and parents a 100%. Being a nanny to a family is a privilege. Its important knowing your kids are being cared for and loved unconditionally is hard to do. You want someone who puts a smile on their face, makes a difference in there life and someone that is going to care about the well being, safety and want the very best for them. I think being a part of the parents lives is just as important, you need to have a nanny that is wanting to help and care not only for your kids but some one who cares about the entire family and wants to provide help and assistance not because it’s their job but because they care like you are family.
Being in a family’s life as a nanny you need to be able to trust, respect and be comfortable and confident you are the best person for the family.

My experience with special needs children...

I have babysat children with ADHD, Autism, dyslexia, sensory and cerebral palsy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

There are so many I love them all!!! I know parents miss many moments each day and want to be a part of everything their kids do so I make sure I capture moments throughout each day by pictures and videos to send them. The kids love knowing their parents get to be a part of special moments.
