More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Over the past two years, I’ve worked in both childcare and healthcare-focused caregiving roles that have strengthened my ability to provide safe, compassionate, and dependable care for children of all ages. I currently work as a nanny in the Mobile area, where I care for infants and toddlers by managing daily routines, developmental activities, meals, naps, behavior guidance, and communication with parents. I also have daycare and nursery experience, including classroom and nursery support through my church. In addition, I worked as a Patient Care Technician at Mizell Memorial Hospital and completed a Nursing Assistant Internship through Montgomery Job Corps, where I gained hands-on experience in patient support, safety, and crisis management. My background is supported by certifications in BLS/CPR, Professional Crisis Management (PCM), and Medication Assistance.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy spending my time being creative and active. I love doing crafts, baking, and trying out new recipes, as well as spending time outside playing and enjoying the fresh air. These activities bring me joy and allow me to share fun and memorable moments with others!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building trust and creating a safe, loving environment for the children in your care. Beyond helping with routines and daily tasks, I believe a nanny plays a huge role in supporting a child’s emotional growth, confidence, and development. It’s important to be dependable, patient, communicative with parents, and genuinely invested in helping each child feel secure, happy, and cared for.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children with special needs in both professional childcare and caregiving settings. My background includes supporting children with physical and developmental disabilities by assisting with daily routines, communication, behavior support, emotional regulation, feeding, hygiene, and structured activities. I am trained in Professional Crisis Management (PCM), which has helped me develop strong de-escalation, patience, and safety-focused caregiving skills. Through my nanny, daycare, and healthcare experience, I’ve learned the importance of creating a calm, supportive environment while adapting care to each child’s individual needs and routines.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was watching a child I cared for become comfortable and confident with me over time. Seeing them run to me excited every morning, learn new things through our daily routines, and reach little milestones made the job incredibly rewarding. I love being able to create a safe, fun environment where children feel loved, supported, and excited to grow
