The most important part about being a nanny is being someone who can be around children and have the patience for it. Someone a child can feel safe, loved and supported by during the times parents can’t be there. Someone who is nurturing.

I grew up with a close little cousin who had special needs I have some experience caring for him since birth. I’ve been a patient care assistant for a family who has 2 autistic children one 20 years old high functioning daughter and one 30 years old non verbal son for 3 years.
