- daycares: i have been an assistant teacher, lead teacher, and floater in a couple different daycares and classrooms!
- nannying: i was a nanny for one girl, starting when she was 9 months old. :)

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
- arts & crafts: i LOVE creating art with children! not only are they learning fine motor skills, watching them express themselves through their art is amazing! i especially enjoy crafts that last - i.e., ornaments at christmas, mother's/father's day gifts, valentines cards, etc. :)
- outdoor activities: spending time outside when the weather allows it is a great way to teach kids about nature, while also getting in some exercise and enjoying the sun!
- cooking: i cook a lot on my own time! cooking with kids can sound stressful/daunting, but doing so shows them that they can help with "adult" tasks and makes them feel included! it's also very rewarding for them: there's nothing more satisfying than taking so much time to put together all sorts of ingredients and getting a delicious meal (or dessert) out of it! :)
- reading: self-explanatory! reading is great for their little minds to wander, creating stories of their own.

making an impact on every child's life. nannying is wonderful for building relationships with people outside of family for little ones! building trust with not only parents but with their child/children is so important. having mutual trust, love, and respect for one another is also big for me!

i felt so good inside when i would arrive each morning and be greeted by a kid that was so happy to see me! it made me excited to be there, and felt less like a job because of the amazing bond i was able to form with her.
