Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy incorporating art, music, and movement, construction activities, imaginative play, and outdoor activities into children's daily routines. I intentionally use these experiences to promote cognitive development, problem-solving, motor skills, social-emotional learning, and creativity in ways that are both engaging and age-appropriate.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is being a positive influence in a child's life. Young children are constantly learning from the people around them, so I believe it's important to support not only their physical needs but also their emotional, social, and cognitive development.
I strive to help children express and regulate their emotions, build communication and language skills, strengthen fine and gross motor skills, and develop problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. I take a whole-child approach, focusing on the skills and confidence children need to thrive both now and as they grow.

My experience with special needs children...
I have both professional and personal experience working with children with special needs. As an RBT, I was trained to support children on the autism spectrum and implement individualized behavior plans. As a Pre-K teacher, I work with children with a variety of needs, including autism, speech delays, ADHD, and other developmental differences.
Personally, my younger sister has disabilities, so I have spent much of my life helping care for and accommodate her needs. That experience has taught me patience, empathy, and how to recognize and respond to each child's unique way of communicating and interacting with the world.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny experiences was caring for a family with three young girls. After getting to know them over several weeks, my favorite part was arriving in the mornings and being greeted with hugs and excitement. The girls often didn't want me to leave at the end of the day, and their oldest daughter even told her mom that I was the best babysitter ever.
Moments like those are especially meaningful to me because they show that I've built trust and created a safe, supportive environment where children feel comfortable, valued, and cared for. Those small connections are what make working with children so rewarding.
