Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Volunteer work with extreme special needs children in elementary school i did this for a year and half couple of hours a week at Amy Blanc school. Im currently a full time nanny i work for a great family in the american river area i was taking care of the cutest most handsome 10 month old baby named bruce their original nanny came back so my hours were cut down 2 days a week im hoping to find another full time nanny job im cpr and first aid certified and ive taken ECE courses but did not recieve a degree

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Indoor activities i love doing depending on age group asking them to color draw paint whatever comes to mind if they need help deciding what to draw i always suggest draw what u dream about or draw a monster best one is when i ask them to draw your family or draw themselves i also like to create music w stuff around the house pots pans etc the littles ones love it. Oitdoor going on a walk describing everything i see or feel also playing follow the leader i let them be the leader and so far its 100% success rate

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being open to a new or different way of doing things never get involved w family matters that do not concern you get to know each family member it benefits all involved pay close attention to the child abd if not sure never hesitate to ask its better to ask than to assume and be wrong make itva point to make time to get to know the mother benan open book be honest and open and remember to follow rules and any instructions to the T stay in the background always volunteer dont wait to be asked

The most important part about being a nanny...

My most recent family i was working for as a full time nanny the baby i was taking care of was a 10 month old baby boy his name is Bruce and every morning when i walked in no matter what was going on at that moment Bruce looked at me and i back at him and then we would both just smile and giggle i will never 4get that smile and it was everyday i still keep in touch w the family im there plan b nanny i was the main nanny but i knew it would be temporary the usual nanny is coming back from having a baby but hands down my favorite nanny moment and i got to see that little smile and thats when i knew all was right in the world
